Air Source Heat Pumps

At Future Solutions, we can help if you are interested in installing domestic heat pumps for your commercial premises. There are all sorts of advantages attached to investing in commercial air source heat pumps. Air source heat pumps are amongst the biggest innovations to hit the energy efficiency market over recent years and give you a much greater level of climate control.

Make Substantial Savings

Air source heat pumps or ASHPs extract free heat from outside to raise the temperature of your commercial premises, reducing your reliance on fossil fuels. ASHPs only need a modest amount of electricity to produce heat, with one unit of cost giving you three units of heat. Traditional gas boilers only provide one unit of heat for each unit of cost. We can supply and install a wide range of heat pumps whilst keeping disruption to a minimum and have many years of experience in this area.

How ASHPs work
The pump will absorb heat from the air outside and move it to your commercial premises through your central heating system to warm it. They can also help you cool your offices or warehouses during the summer months. An air-to-air heat pump can heat your space, whilst an air-to-water pump can also provide hot water. ASHPs are eligible for the (MCS) Microgeneration Certification Scheme as well as Enhanced Capital Allowance, which means your purchase could cost much less than you think. Once your solution is installed, you can start seeing substantial drops in your energy costs.

Make a better contribution
You can power your air source heat pump with solar power and wind energy rather than electricity, and you could even get paid for producing your own heat via the Renewable Heat Incentive. Some air source heat pumps last for up to twenty years, and the installation process only takes a few days in most cases. Once you have your system in place, you won’t need to store any fuel, and your maintenance obligations will be minimal. You need to simply clean them every few months and have them serviced on an annual basis.
